Waterproofing concrete wall

Project: HEG Kelpen-Oler
Description:
The brand-new modern multi-functional building of the new sport park HEG Kelpen-Oler overlooks all sports fields. By placing soil against the façade of the ground floor, the top floor appears to lie on a hill. Against the façade, space has been made for a tribune.

To ensure that no moisture penetrates the façade, various waterproofing solutions have been realized in advance of placing the soil. First, the connection from the foundation to the concrete wall was sealed with Liquid Rubber HBS200. Liquid Rubber connects seamlessly, so the entire connection is protected. Liquid Rubber HBS200 is applied on to the cone holes to keep out moisture. The connection of the window frame to the concrete wall is also made waterproof with Liquid Rubber HBS200.
