Air barrier construction

Project: Air barrier construction
Description:

The striking appearance of the newly constructed project Bakermat stands out well in the area. Due to the different colors of masonry and striking façade details, the project gives a playful impression. But behind the scenes, craftmanship and skill is used to develop this extraordinary building. This project is carried out in phases because of the differences in the facades. A façade can already be fully constructed, while the adjacent façade is still completely exposed.

Liquid Rubber HBS200 is applied around the window frames to create an air barrier. Liquid Rubber has been used because of the seamless adhesion it has to almost all surfaces. Such as, in this case, sand-limestone, precast concrete and the window frames. The top lintels are also waterproofed with Liquid Rubber HBS200 to prevent any leakage from happening.
