Basement wall
Leaking basements is a very common problem. When this problem occurs, a lot of people choose to stop the leak from the inside of the basement. This could stop the leak but the water will still penetrate into the basement wall. When the water pressure gets higher, the water can transport and the leak might occur on a different place or level. That is why we always advice to seal the basement wall on the outside. Because the ground can move basement walls could easily get small cracks. This is how the wall will loose its water tightness. Liquid Rubber BelowGrade is fully seamless and highly flexible. It can perfectly seal the entire basement wall and the product is flexible enough to cover some possible cracks.
Basement outlets
Pipes that go through a basement wall need to be sealed properly. Those pipes are usually made of PVC, PE or a different kind of plastic. Liquid Rubber HBS200 has a perfect adhesion to these plastics. The product can easily be applied on the connection from the pipe to the wall to ensure a fully waterproof sealant.
Seams
The connection from foundation to wall is a very critical point. This connection is always below the ground and always has to deal with ground water. The connection needs to be waterproofed so that water cannot find its way into the construction. Liquid Rubber HBS200 is easily applied combined with Geotextile. This way, all the water stays out of this connection.
